life is sweet.....
although we have been facing some challenging times and some of these hardships (college loans) will follow us for years to come... we have so much.. healthy kids, a HOME, a strong marriage, the Gospel, and a life with agency that we create.

meeting baby grey....
jen has one sweet boy with the most beautiful brown eyes... he slept most of the time we were there but she woke him so aunt kati could hold him.
i woke him with the clicking of the camera... my kids are used to the sound right off and the big black thing in front of my face...i might have weirded him out a bit...
luci girl now just wants our baby to come out... it's going to be a long pregnancy...
adorable baby....fabulous new momma... can't wait to see him again...

big news...
finally! after days on a liquid diet....
other big news; HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRISH....it's a milestone, a right of passage, and from what i hear the best decade....hope you find everything you are looking for in your 50's friend.
and big news for me....i get to meet baby grey monday. can't wait to hold that baby....expect pictures..

'the dental plan'.....
luci is ready to enter that phase where children lose their little kid cuteness and turn into children who haven't grown into their teeth yet....sigh....
those tiny little bright white teeth were already loose...4 of them actually...but last night she was goofing with her brothers spinning in the computer chair and knocked 2 of them almost out. she went on a liquid diet immediately, refusing to eat anything that might make them fall out. that was until today when she remembered that her kinder teacher beloved mrs. b has a special container you can bring them home in if you lose them at school. you know ... like a community tooth jar...ewww. so her plan is to lose them at school. she requested a 'soft' bagel to do the job.
and then she asked for some pictures of her still with her baby teeth. the humble little thing even jumped down on the ground and asked 'get one of me like this..i look cute'.

things are starting to bloom....
finally.... after being down and out for months...absent from life... I AM FEELING BETTER... AND... I GOT TO HEAR THE HEART BEAT...so my own heart is at ease... it is finally time to let down my guard and embrace this little miracle.
kicking some domestic butt around here...i'm a little behind in this department lately...so it's like catch up. with the rain here all week i might even get some craftiness going on. then i could take pictures and even blog like i used to... high hopes i am having...smile.

i got shit for mothers day.....
literally;
5yards of compost! my grandmother, my in-laws, and my husband all just gasped at the title and are slowly breathing again...wink. my dad had the compost delivered to my house saturday so that i could complete my front yard flower beds. we spent most of our day saturday in the yard but by the time my gift was delivered we were so over shoveling it! so there it will sit for a few days until the sun visits us again.
eli blu and luci are still small enough that their teachers had them make gifts in class. eli blu made me a coupon book for the following;
*breakfast in bed
*washing my van
*dishes for a week!
*no asking to play video games
he also filled in the blanks________
she likes to blog a lot.
she always lets me play video games (really? i thought i was the monster who always said no)
luci girl also made a fill in the blank for me...i will even use her spelling because kinders are the best at this...it melts mommas hearts.
my mom always says kleen up yor skrapbook tabl.
my mom cooks the best scones. (i have never made scones but she does have a cook book that she begs me to make scones out of...guess i have to now!)
my mom really loves buttrflis.
my mom and i really love to cok. (dang...i do have to make the scones now)
my moms favorite color is lavender.
my mom is beautiful because she wiz a byotufl sprkle dres to church.
this always make me wonder if my children know me at all...and then she nailed it on lavendar. who knew? i guess they do. these are such gifts because you get to see into their little minds and know how they feel. sigh...
my mothers day went something like this;
cinnamon rolls and coffee...how i love a sloooow start to a day. got ready for church. the boys came out in their sunday best without one complaint and i didn't even lay it out for them! cuddles on a church pew and a candy bar for being a momma while walking out of the chapel. i was so there for the chocolate this sunday and i was eating it wether it made me sick or not! i did get sick and napped for 2hrs. got woke up from a very excited boy that a momma duck just walked through our yard with 15 new ducklings. sat in my chair on the porch waking up, eating an apple and staring at my belly that has decided to just pooch out this last week. took a walk through the park holding my lil girls hand. returned to my chair to watch the birds play while the sun went down and the storm came in. brian made the most amazing potatoe soup for me....and i may have eaten 3 bowls, got sick and had to lay down for most of the evening. totally worth it.
brian made sure to take me down to pick out a bird bath. i've been saying since fall that i was getting one for my 'bird garden'. he made the day relaxing, precious, and spoiled me. i have a lot to live up to for fathers day.....
