we are off to portland this afternoon to go to jenny's...our favorite babysitter of all time...brian and i are going to the blazer's season opener......wooohooooooo.....more on lisas later....

i have tried 7 days in a row to build a fire. brian found this amusing and did nothing to help. i guess it was his 'tough love' approach. it worked...

 

but the significant part was that i went out and cut kindling this morning. even more so that i kept doing it after finding;

 

now i better keep this on the down low or i might take over this chore in the house....luckily brian rarely reads the blog....smile

luci came to me yesterday and asked to wear a baby dress she got from my grandpa when he visited mexico. i figured she was small enough to still wear it as a shirt and sure enough. my only request was that i get a pick for great grandpa.......and that is all it took for her to turn into model mode....;

 

adorable and ridiculous all at the same time....smile

she also immediately told the bus driver that her grandpa from mexico got it for her....hehe

10 pumpkins later...

 

it was such an easy going trip to the pumpkin patch this year...no stressing about what to wear, it was raining and our main purpose was coats and shoes that could get muddy...no stress on pictures, just fun taking pics in the rain....no stress on cost, any pumpkin any size $1....it was just fun. that is the way it should be.

 

just smiles....and rain....and mud!

 

luci tripped over a vine and ate it.....she asked her daddy if there was anything on her "bum bum"... of course it was covered....

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i told the farmers that i would blog them....greens bridge farm...go over bridge heading into jefferson, take an immediate right, follow around curves, 1/2 mile (?) on right....super easy... and great cider too!

turned into a wet, muddy, great time....
